Know which lane you are in
Lab, Certification, and Production are separate lanes with separate credentials, and the lane switcher always shows where you are. Open Lab and press Run Lab test on the shipped defaults: typed JSON, raw X12 850, then raw EDIFACT orders. A pass shows success checks with partner contacted false and a simulated acknowledgement, because Lab never reaches a partner endpoint. Certification is the first lane that contacts the partner, with real acknowledgements on the exact connection. Production stays gated until testing, approval, and the go-live gate are met. Next, validate one full document in Lab, then certify the exact route with the partner.
