Finite plans alert you before the included monthly allowance is reached and pause new processing at the allowance until you upgrade; Enterprise is unlimited.
Is there really no per-document fee?
Correct — plans meter on monthly document volume tiers, never a toll per document. Overage is billed at the published per-transaction rate of $0.15–$0.20/tx (same catalog as Marketplace). Signal warns you before you would hit your allowance.
Do I pay per trading partner?
Starter includes 5 trading partners. Growth and Enterprise include unlimited trading partners — a new retailer mandate never changes your bill.
What about HIPAA / BAA for PHI?
Healthcare X12 (837, 835, 270/271) is included on paid plans. Map and test without PHI on Seasonal and Starter; production PHI requires an executed BAA plus the HIPAA/BAA add-on ($199/mo; included on Enterprise).
What does the trial include?
Full product for 30 days — real partner test flows, CSV/API/upload intake, and Signal setup chat. No credit card required. Paid add-ons (including HIPAA/BAA) are not included in the core-plan trial; Enterprise includes the HIPAA/BAA add-on when you are on that plan.
Can I change plans anytime?
